1990 Honda PC800 PACIFIC COAST,1990 Honda PC-800 Sport Touring Bike. This is possibly the best, most rider-friendly, commuting and touring bike ever made. It has a low, comfortable seat, low center of gravity, great wind protection (it is truly a three-season bike), and incredible storage capacity in its unique 2-sided trunk. With an efficient yet peppy, maintenance-free 800cc V-2 engine, it has all the power you need for 2-up riding, and will get 50mpg at 65 mph, all day long. Cruising at 70 (which is my normal speed) it gets a little less than that. Around town riding averages 44-46 mpg on regular fuel. This bike has several nice accessories and a lot of unique trim to make it truly a one-of-a-kind bike. The rider and passenger seatbacks are adjustable, and each carries a large faux-leather pouch. There is also a pouch on the fuel door, which is the perfect size for a wallet and cellphone. I have added an electrical outlet for electric gloves or what have you. Most of the trim is visible in the pictures, but the pinstriping can't be seen very well, and it is outstanding. The bike is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. There is a bit of corrosion on some of the added chrome, and one or two light scratches but that's about it. The paint is like new and the windshield and tires were replaced shortly before I got it 2 years ago (from Texas). It has the latest PA isnpection (good until the end of September, 2010), and a new battery. I would absolutely not hesitate to take it on an interstate trip. It now has about 23,000 miles on it, and I ride it every day. Riding this bike at 40 degrees is no problem, provided you have boots, heavy socks and good gloves. $3,600 seems like a lot of money for a nineteen-year-old bike, but PLEASE do a little research on this bike and how it is priced. Look at ads on craigslist, ebay and Cycle Trader, and anywhere else you can find them. Low mileage PC800's like this are generally priced around $4,000, and you won't find any with these accessories (although some have stereo's which mine doesn't have). Also notice the miles on some of the lower-priced bikes. It is not unusual to find them with 80-100 thousand miles on them, with no engine work. The bike is located in Wexford, near Soergel Orchards on Brandt School Road. For anyone coming from farther away, the Wexford exit is at Rt 910, Exit 73 on Interstate 79, and I am five minutes from the exit ramp. I will be flexible about showing and delivering the bike, but not very flexible with the price. Sorry this ad is so long; thanks for looking.Dave $3600,
