2005 TRIUMPH THRUXTON CUP CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING BIKE. ____From a press release issued by Triumph Motorcycles (America), Ltd.:Triumph Announces Inaugural Thruxton Cup Challenge Champion(Pueblo, CO) - Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd. announced that Cumming, Georgias Ted Cannonball Cobb, won the inaugural Triumph Thruxton Cup Challenge with a victory at Pueblo Motorsports Park in Colorado on September 11, 2005. Throughout the entire season, consistency was the name of the game, as Cobb racked up seven wins out of the first nine Thruxton Cup races.Cobb, who works as a Sales Manager for Moto Britalia explained, "This series is a great place to race the Thruxtons. The bikes are a blast to ride on the track and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to compete; anyone can do it!
